The international Solo Dance Contest 2013 is directed at dancers from European countries and aimed to support and promote contemporary dance in Europe. In the Jury of the Solo Dance Contest 2013, will seat: Ismael Ivo (Brasil | Germany) - dancer, choreographer, pedagogue, for many years artistic director of La Biennale di Venezia Dance Department; Leszek Bzdyl (Poland) - dancer and choreographer, director of Dada von Bzdulow theatre; Martin Sonderkamp (Germany) - dancer, choreographer and Joanna Szymajda (Poland) - deputy director of the Institute of Music and Dance. The Jury will judge the solos for their artistic value, technical level and originality, awareness of the performance space and dramaturgy of the choreography. In the contest there are to be 3 prizes: 1-st prize: 3.000 EUR, 2-nd prize: 2.000 EUR and 3-rd prize: 1.000 EUR.
