Depression "... is like a dark haze creeping in the recesses of the room, always present, always ready to flow in and rise to devour you." This is the darkest darkness, emptiness, meaninglessness and total inner despair. Others may think that you’re a lucky man, but you know it's just a scam ... "

Mirosław Baran after the premiere: This definitely very successful performance tells in a couple of extremely aesthetic visually and daring dance pictures about the problem of depression. The main character is played by the exquisite, precise, expressive and dynamic Sayaka Haruna-Kondracka - confirming this performance with impeccable technique and exceptional charisma, of which she was known in the productions of the Baltic Dance Theater, which has been operating only recently at the Opera. (...) "Below the sea level" does not tell any coherent story, it is rather a sequence of dance and visual impressions, depicting a disease attack, difficult contact with other people or referring to religion. The whole, however, is characterized by a very coherent dramaturgy and well-placed accents.
